For a UX research course, I assessed user need for the Gift Giver system. The system is to allow users to get gift recommendations. The Gift Giver system would be a reminder system. The research uncovered whether or not such an app would be useful and what platform would be most feasible.
For UX research course, I worked newspaper editors who are wondering if crowdsourcing news from everyday citizens with the use of app would be useful. The project identified user need, key groups and tasks. There was a mockup prototype design that tested out.
For a UX research course, I helped a company called "Find My Pet" to determine what user interface would be most practical. Through interviews I identified if there was a user need, who the key users and tasks would be. I created a prototype and surveyed respondents.
For a UX research course, I worked a grocery chain on the Tomorrow's Shopping Cart. The project would allow people to find items that registered in an app. It would help users more easily navigate the supermarket. There would be barcode reader built in. The research helped to uncover a user need, potential tasks and key objectives. A prototype was used to assess feasibility of the design.
For UX research course, I conducted research on the user need for a Digital Postcard system. Travelers would take a photo, write accompanying message and then upload it into the cloud. Then the "postcard" would be printed in the destination and mailed to the intended recipient. I did research on prototypes. I tried to determine if a mobile app or kiosk would appropriate.
